RTDA:
Back to
VEGAS

The industry gears up for the RTDA 72nd Annual Convention & International Trade Show, July 25 - 29, 2004 at the Sands Expo Center.

Staff Report

This year, the annual RTDA trade show returns to Las Vegas, one of America's most smoker-friendly cities. The 200,000 square-foot exhibition hall at the Sands Expo Center will be filled with more than 300 exhibitors in over 1,155 booths offering the hottest products, newest innovations, and best deals exclusively for show attendees.

Buyers will want to take advantage of the many "show-only" specials offered by the exhibitors only during the actual show days. Two informative seminars with noted speakers will focus on valuable information to help retailers stay informed and stay successful.

A full slate of social events gives retailers the chance to informally meet with fellow tobacconists, suppliers, and friends in the industry. Retailers also enjoy a complimentary lunch on the trade show floor every day, and at night are treated to lavish receptions hosted by industry suppliers.

This year, the RTDA is holding its first-ever golf outing with continental breakfast, shotgun start, lunch, and award ceremony at the renowned Tournament Players Course at The Canyons.

Hotel rooms have been blocked at The Venetian, which features all suite guest rooms at a special group rate. Members can register for the trade show and make their hotel reservations on-line at the RTDA website www.rtda.org. Hotel rooms can also be booked by calling the Venetian Hotel at 1-877-283-6423. Members must mention "Group RRTDA" for the special RTDA convention rate.

The Sands Expo Center is connected to The Venetian, the official RTDA hotel, and offers state-of-the-art convention space and amenities.
