Gentlemen's Knives from Xikar
"How many wives or girlfriends would enter a knife or gun store to buy a knife for their man?" asks Xikar president Kurt Van Kepple. Not nearly enough, he estimates, making smoke shops an untapped and ideal venue for the company's new line of top-grade gentlemen's prestige pocket knives, which "provide revenues to make up for sagging tobacco sales." Knives from the California studio of William Henry feature exotic handle materials, stainless bolsters, anodized titanium liners, and laser cut handles for exquisite curves and a snug fit. Beretta Sport Knives follow the rugged tradition from this famous Italian gunmaker. Knives include tacticals and hunters, while the most popular knives, the Airlight Series, weigh less than an ounce. Columbia River Knife & Tool offers a vast array of lines from top Knifemaker Gild members and craftsmen. Finally, Xikar's house Kantas knives offer a reasonably priced and unique alternative. Both the money clip and cigar clip have the patented frame lock system, and are made with AUS-8 steel.
