The silver screen comes to life with the unveiling of the limited edition "Lord" pipe from Stanwell of Denmark.

Inspired by the popular movie and series of books, "The Lord" is a natural finish briar pipe with the shape as a clay Church warden. The longer Lucite stem helps this unique pipe deliver a cool and dry smoke.

Only 300 of these limited edition pipes are being made. It comes in both smooth and sandblast finishes and wholesales for $50.

Mellow Mixture Newest Peter Stokkebye Addition

Mellow Mixtures, a new edition of the Peter Stokkebye Gold Series, was introduced at the August RTDA show in Nashville. An elegant blend of very mature Golden Virginias, Mellow Mixture is blended with two types of extra mild Black Cavendishes for smoothness and then finished of with a touch of Toasted Burley. The blend is a loose cut Cavendish and has an exceptionally mild flavor and aroma with a touch of natural sweetness and finished off with a subtle berry flavor.

Danish-based Peter Stokkebye International describes the blend as both smooth and flavorful without biting; not overly aromatic, yet having great flavor and aroma.

With the addition of Mellow Mixture, the complete Gold Series line consists of Black Truffle, Evening Rose, 1882 Mixture, and Proper English.

My Own Blend Rewards Program

Pipe smokers can collect the paper insert discs found inside Paul Olsen A's My Own Blend tins from Peter Stokkebye and redeem them for pipes or accessories. New Honeydew from McClelland

Honeydew is the third entry in McClelland Tobacco's 221B Series, named after Sherlock Holme's London address of 221B Baker Street, of course. A fine Irish flake described as "subtly sweet," "fragrant," and "gentle on the palate," in the Irish tradition, Honeydew is packed in resealable tins.

Dunhill Adds Larger Pipes, Whitespot Pipe Cases

Alfred Dunhill of London has added two new large sizes to its pipe line. The new XXL pipes are larger than Dunhill's ODA and, when compared to the Dunhill sizes of groups 1-6, would fall into the 7.5 to 8 range. The English-made pipes are offered in most common finishes and retail between $625 and $975.

Dunhill has introduced two pipe cases in the Whitespot style. The Whitespot Three Pipe and Five Pipe cases also have room for a tobacco pouch and accessories. Crafted in Germany from black lambskin, it comes with a detachable carrying strap. Suggested retail, $190 and $245 respectively.
